Napoleon, Fine Champagne Cognac--1811

Details
Napoleon, Fine Champagne Cognac--1811
Wax capsule, encrusted bottle. Glass shoulder button embossed "N'. Slip label only, stating "Cognac Fine Champagne distilled in 1811. Conserved in the wood since its origin and put into bottles in 1903 at Cognac". Level mid/low-shoulder.
It is interesting and extremely rare to find the bottling date on one of these 1811 cognacs. 92 years in wood is possible, but it is likely that part of this time latterly was spent in glass demijohn. Half-bottles, too, are rare and the level is quite acceptable for this size
1 half-bottle per lot
