Provenance
The Garrett specimen, sale 4, March 25-26 1981, lot 1730, was graded Very Good, and sold for $800. The catalogue stated about eight specimens were known to exist, "of which just two or three are in high grades." This specimen, aquired at the beginning of the last century, is offered at public sale for the first time, and certainly must rank as one of the finest examples known
