TWO MEISSEN SALTS MODELLED AS CHILDREN SUPPORTING SHELLS, one with two boys wearing striped and flowered dress, stumbling as they balance the flowered and gadroon-moulded shell on their upraised hands, a cluster of bullrushes between them, the other painted outside the factory and formed as two girls standing back-to-back, wearing striped and flowered dress, standing on pierced, scroll-moulded mound bases (chips to flowers and leaves), blue crossed swords marks, one cancelled, one incised 2926, painted numbers 15 and 6, circa 1890
