A MEISSEN GROUP OF A FRENCH DANDY AND A FASHIONABLE LADY, walking arm-in-arm, clasping her flowered mauve shawl between them, he sporting the tricolor in his bi-corn hat, his left arm tucked into his puce coat and wearing a chequered green waistcoat and cream breeches, she wearing a flowered and pink-beribboned pale-blue hat over her long fair hair and with a matching flowered dress, gazing with adoration into her companion's eyes whilst hiding her left hand behind her gathered skirts, standing on a grassy oval pad and a white waisted-circular base edged with gilt bands (his right arm restored, chip to flowers), blue crossed swords mark, Pressnumern 74 and 163, incised K 162., circa 1890
