A BERLIN RECTANGULAR PLAQUE painted with a young girl reclining on a couch in an interior before orange drapery and beside a box of scrolls, wearing a 'jewelled' head-band securing her long fair hair, a white and pale-blue dress embellished in raised gilding and with beaded sandals and gilt jewellery, a scroll on her lap and a quill-pen in her right hand, her left foot resting on a tasselled cushion, impressed KPM and sceptre mark and letter H, circa 1880, framed
