A GILT-METAL-MOUNTED SÈVRES-PATTERN BLEU CELESTE POT-POURRI VASE AND PIERCED COVER, painted with playful children in a continuous misty landscape, the front with three boys skipping, the reverse with two boys playing dice, the frieze enclosed within horizontal ciselé gilt bands and 'jewelled' outlines above a fluted lower body and a knopped and flared foot enriched with 'jewels', mounted in metal with two double-scroll handles with lion terminals and with a metal liner and a circular base (some 'jewels' lacking and wear to gilding), circa 1880
