A George I black lacquer longcase clock, the case with gilt chinoiserie decoration to the extended and restored plinth, lenticle to the arched trunk door, the flat-top hood with brass-capped ¾ columns, the dial signed Wm: Vincent, Portsmouth on an oval disc in matted center with subsidiary seconds ring and calendar apeture, brass chapter ring, pierced blued hands, mask-and- foliate spandrels, strike/silent ring to arch, the five ringed pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement; with restoration 7ft.5in.
