1973 was perhaps the best ever vintage for Eiswein. The Anheusers picked these grapes individually on 2 December at 165 Oechlse. (Their 1962 TBA Eiswein sold at the Wiesbaden auction in 1991 for DM 2500, approximately #870 per bottle).
