A VINCENNES LARGE POT-POURRI VASE (pot pourri Pompadour) and a cover, the shoulders with puce and gilt foliage scrolls with harebells suspending sprays of flowers including wood anemones, cornflowers and grasses between seven pierced holes moulded with gilt cartouches, palm fronds and flowerheads above shaded puce, blue and gilt tapering pilasters the centres with a ribbon threaded with flowerheads and the foliage scroll capitals suspending a continuous looped garland of fantastic garden flowers and foliage including, roses, narcissus, tulips, cornflowers, anenomes, peonies and hyacinths, the spreading foot with a similar flower garland within a puce striped band tied with blue ribbons and foliage, gilt line rims (crack to top rim extending approximately 19cm., broken from base and repaired, extended crack around foot, inside flange under base broken and repaired, minute chip to rim), elaborate blue interlaced L marks with three dots, circa 1752, the cover a later replacement and perhaps Tournai
