A finely engineered stationary steam set comprising an approximately 1in.:1ft scale James Coombes table engine and a copper vertical centre flue boiler built by J.P. Nazareth. Measurements overall -- 17¾ x 14in.(45 x 35.5cm)
The rivetted silver soldered and hard solder caulked 4in. dia. boiler has fittings including water and pressure gauges, level test and blowdown cocks, safety, clack and main stop valves, gas burner and lagged steam line with displacement lubricator to single cylinder four pillar table engine, the cylinder 1in. bore x 2in. stroke with draincocks supported on four doric columns, waisted crank, Watt-type governor, spoked flywheel and multi-rope pulley. Additional equipment includes water tank, hand feed pump and lagged exhaust pipe. Finished in green, black and polished brightwork and mounted on wood
