A late 18th-Century/early 19th-Century miniature lacquered brass sextant, signed on centre brace M. Berge London and on the index arm G. Fait R.E. with 'pin-hole' sight and mirrors, index arm and screw clamp, the arc engraved with scale divided 0°o-130°o, with turned ivory handle in velvet lined leather case - 3½in. (9cm.) wide.
