A GERMAN WHEEL-LOCK GUN of exceptional length with two-stage sighted barrel retaining its original browned finish, flat lock with exposed wheel struck with a P and with small iron retaining bracket, plain full stock (reduced at the fore-end) with paddle-shaped butt, indented iron trigger-guard, and brass ramrod-pipes (ramrod missing, old repair to fore-end), circa 1640-50
