A GERMAN FLINTLOCK TARGET PISTOL with swamped multi-groove rifled octagonal barrel with silver fore-sight and numbered 2 at the breech, signed flat bevelled lock with roller and stepped tail, figured walnut full stock, chequered butt, shaped iron mounts (ramrod-pipe loose), set trigger, horn fore-end cap, and horn-tipped ramrod, the butt-cap engraved with the initials JD, probably for Fürst Josef, by Pierre Greverath of Schloss Dyck, early 19th Century
