A FINE PAIR OF DUTCH FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOLS with long two-stage barrels turned at the muzzle and intersection, and struck on the underside of the breech with a mark, MIM, and barrelsmith's mark IR (Neue Støckel 3220), rounded locks engraved with a bird, berries and foliage and inscribed 'a Mastrich' on each tail, moulded fruitwood full stocks, iron trigger-guards with an oval panel in relief on the bow, flattened butts each with ivory pommel carved with petals in relief and with ebony band, ebony fore-end caps, iron ramrod-pipe, and one ebony-tipped ramrod (one jaw screw replaced, one ramrod and one side-nail missing), circa 1660
