INDENTPrivate John Watkins was wounded in action before Mooltan, 12 September, 1848; served on the North West Frontier, 1852

Private Michael McKivering attested for the 32nd. Regiment, 1842 aged 17 years and was discharged, 1864 after 21 years service; was present in the Punjab and took part in the taking of Mooltan and the battle of Goojerat, 1848-49 (Medal and two clasps); served during the Indian Mutiny and took part in the action at Chinhut, 30 June, 1857 (severely wounded), the defence of Lucknow, 1 July to 22 November, the action at Cawnpoore, 6 December and the subsequent campaign for the reduction of Oudh (Medal and Clasp)
