INDENTCaptain Norman Prynne entered the 3rd. Bn. D.C.L.I. on probation May, 1913; shown in December 1914 Army List attached to 1st. and 2nd. Regular Bns. Royal Welsh Fusiliers; appointed to a Commission as Second Lieutenant, Hampshire Regiment June 1915; Captain Prynne, 3rd. Bn. Hampshire Regiment attached 1st. Bn. was killed in action France, 28 March 1918 and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial

Corporal Garnet Thornton 1st. Bn., was killed in action Belgium, 15 December 1914 and is buried in Bedford House Cemetery, Zillebeke

Private T. Dawe was made a prisoner of war during the withdrawal from Mons 1914 and returned home, December 1918
