Pioneer Corps, was killed on active service during an enemy air raid on 5 General Hospital, Algeria, 25 November 1942; Lance Bombardier Frederick Henry James Hawking, 4th Field Regiment R.A., died of wounds, North Africa, 27 November 1942 and was buried in Benghasi War Cemetery; Driver Harry Clifton King, Royal Army Service Corps, was killed in action in Tunisia, 4 April 1943; Sergeant George Franklin Stenning, 1st Bn Royal Sussex Regiment, was killed in action Tunisia, 30 April 1943; Gunner Reginald Leslie Dudley Stewart Fisher, 135th Field Regiment R.A., died as a prisoner of war in Thailand 12 July 1943, he was buried in Kanchanaburi War Cemetery; Lance Corporal Harold Schofield, 4th Ordnance Store Coy.
