INDENTPrivate Peter David Follis, 1st Bn Northamptonshire Regiment, was killed in action, Dorne, Burma, 14 June 1944 and is commemorated on the Rangoon Memorial; Captain Malcolm Garle Seton, 12th Frontier Force Regiment, served with the Chindits, captured at Chaunsarp, Burma and was a prisoner of war June 1943 to May 1945 -- fell from a cliff and was killed 1947; Sergeant Ernest Edward Green, Royal Corps of Signals, was lost when as a prisoner of war of the Japanese, the SS Lisbon Maru was torpedoed and sunk off Formosa by the U.S. Submarine, Grouper, 1/2 October 1942 -- nearly 1800 British prisoners went down with the ship; Bombardier Joseph Moorhead, 9th Coast Regiment R.A., died as a prisoner of war at Nieke Camp Thailand, 2 June 1943; Private Harold George Lansdown, 4th Bn Royal West Kent Regiment, was killed in action at Razabil Fortress, Arakan, Burma, 2 February 1944; Gunner John Niven Todd, 4th Survey Regiment R.A., was killed in action France, 23 July 1944 and was buried in the Tilly-sur-Seulles War Cemetery; Private Arthur McLaughlin, 1st Bn London Scottish, was killed in action Italy, 7 April 1944 and was buried in Argenta Gap War Cemetery
