Warrant Officer George Albert Losh, Air Gunner, No. 102 Squadron (Halifaxes) was made a prisoner of war when his aircraft was shot down during a bombing raid against Bremen, June 1942; Warrant Officer Losh is believed to have lost his life when a column of P.O.W.s were attacked by Typhoons of the 2nd.
