INDENTSergeant D. A. Holdsworth, Air Gunner, No. 61 Squadron (Lancasters) failed to return from the bombing raid made by 327 Lancasters and Halifaxes on the Skoda works, Pilsen 24 June, 1943, where 11 of the force was lost; he was buried in Chievres Communal Cemetery, Belgium

Sergeant George Phillips, Air Gunner, No. 75 Squadron (Stirlings) was reported missing, presumed killed in action when his aircraft failed to return from mining in Kiel Bay, 29 April 1943; A.A. fire and searchlights were encountered which was believed to have come from an enemy flak ship in the mining area; he was buried in Svinø Churchyard, Denmark
