Wilcock, Air Gunner, No. 106 Squadron (Lancasters) took part in eight operations with his squadron including those against Essen, Dortmund, Duisberg, the Skoda works at Pilsen, Dusseldorf and Bochum before his last mission to Oberhausen, 14/15 June 1943 when his aircraft failed to return -- he was reported missing, presumed killed in action

Flying Officer Ronald John Bordiss, Pilot, No. 35 Squadron (Lancasters) failed to return from a bombing attack against Lille railway goods station, 9/10 April 1944; he was buried at Abberville Communal Cemetery
