INDENTWarrant Officer Alfred Boulton, Air Gunner, No. 148 and 207 Squadrons (Wellingtons and Lancasters) is shown on operations with 148 Squadron, Kubrit, Middle East from 1 July -- 15 November 1942, his targets in the Western Desert include: Enemy MT, troop concentrations -- shipping, docks and installations -- Tobruk dive bombed; petrol dumps and filling stations, Tobruk; enemy shipping Tobruk -- attacked by Me110; bombing Sollum; bombing Benghazi; (Log Book) is shown with 207 Squadron from 12 April 1944 and his operations include, Brunswick, Schwienfurt, Annecy, Bourg, Amiens and Duisberg. On 22/23 1944 May Boulton failed to return after taking part in bombing operations against Brunswick, he was reported missing, presumed killed in action and was buried in the Reichwald Forest War Cemetery
