(1888-1970) joined the Indian Service of Officers as Assistant Engineer 1 October 1911; served with the Punjab Light Horse in Mesopotamia during the Great War, and promoted to Captain, May 1918 whilst Assistant Irrigation Officer; Executive Engineer 1920; Officiating Superintending Engineer 1929; Officiating Chief Engineer and Secretary to the Government, Central Provinces and Berar 1935; Chief Engineer 1937; retired 1943 (C.I.E.)
