comprising ...................................., manuscript on ivory and pale buff paper, six panels, each with the upper line of strong black thuluth above a narrower panel with three lines of clear black naskh, a few gold rosette and similar illumination amongst the text, later illuminated floral panels at each side, gold margins and inter-panel divisions between black rules, laid on marbled or coloured paper leaves, last page signed 'katabahu al-'abd al-za'if Uthman al-ma'ruf bi-hafiz kalami-Allah hi' al-qadimi' and dated 1083, (negligible staining), later brocade covers with plain leather border
