A LARGE GILT COPPER (tombak) EWER of baluster form with hinged domed cover, scrolling S-shape handle and short setpped foot, the exterior of the body and cover indented with vertical bands of chevron motifs, the finial of the cover in the form of a very bold flowerhead, the handle engraved at top and bottom with scrolling leaves, early 18th century (gilding very slightly rubbed)
