AN ANTIQUE FEREGHAN RUG, the pale lemon-yellow field with an overall fine lozenge lattice scattered with floral motifs around a stepped brick-red medallion with a similar lattice and central stylised flowerhead, elaborate pendants at each end, the indigo spandrels with angular floral motifs and issuing boteh, in an indigo flowerhead and meandering serrated leaf border between brick-red floral and reciprocal stripes (slight overall wear, ends slightly reduced and repaired)
