Upright display cabinet of lacquer immitating tortoiseshell with spider and spider webb design on lid, sides and base, flanked on each side with ribbon design of flowers, hinged bombé front with over-painted transfer print of lady at writing desk, gilt hinges, clasp and handle, unfolding to reveal mounted album, similarly decorated, over-painted transfer print of landscape in flower cartouche on upper cover, gilt clasp and corners, blue velvet interior, 4to., containing four cabinet cards.
