A PAIR OF VICTORIAN DESSERT STANDS AND SIX SIMILAR SHAPED-CIRCULAR DESSERT PLATES, the stands on spreading circular bases chased with basket weave and spiral flutes, the shallow bowls chased to simulate a draped lace napkin, one with strawberries and the other with cob nuts, the plates similarly chased with various flowering plants, each engraved with a crest and motto, by John Newton Mappin, Sheffield 1890 and 1891, stamped Mappin & Webb
