The later rectangular plate with tambour-shutter framed by various bands of geometric and organic decoration including a band of applied carved foliate ivory trails and fruit and ebony bands, the outer border with pierced lappeting with stylised palmettes, on tiger feet, the back with trestle support, the stretcher of the trestle later, possibly originally framing a picture
