A STAFFORDSHIRE PEARLWARE STREET-MUSICIAN GROUP modelled as a figure in black top-hat and green coat playing a music-box, a brown bear at his feet seated erect and holding a large baton, a youth in blue coat and yellow trousers holding an upturned hat and with a crouching monkey between, before a purple-flowering tree, on a green shaped oval base lightly moulded with scrolls, the reverse moulded with a blank medallion on the tree-trunk (monkey restored, chip to brim of youth's hat, minor chips to foliage), circa 1820
