Woven in wools and silks, of a courtly gathering with a royal figure holding a sceptre before a young lady with further courtly figures surrounding them, in an architectural setting with flanking columns and an arcaded window with a young gentleman kneeling before a lady, the foreground with five courtly figures greeting each other, the top cut and re-attached, with later brown slip, basically mid-16th Century and extensively re-woven
