A GENDAITO, the blade slender honzukuri, iorimune, kogissaki and koshizori with ko-itame hada and choji-midare hamon of nioi and ko-nie, some in sunagashi form, komaru boshi and ubu nakago, yasurime engraved but not filed, unsigned, probably Taisho era, 1912-1926, 72.1 cm. long, in shirasaya with sayagaki stating that the blade was presented to General Becket by General Second Class Hoshino Shosaburo, in 1920
