George III, a rare presentation set of gilt-proof copper coinage, 1797, Twopence, Penny, Halfpenny and Farthing, the Twopence with Union flag on the ship on the reverse (PK. KT2), the stop after III, the lower stop of the colon and the stop after REX have all be unblocked, the irregular line-flaws on the reverse rim are very faint, the Penny with small draped bust with two berries in wreath on obverse, and SOHO on reverse (PK. KP16), a clean early strike without any die flaws, the Halfpenny with K and SOHO double-cut (PK. R59), a Taylor restrike, and the Farthing with two berries in wreath on obverse, rock overlaps shield on reverse (PK. KF. 2), the die flaw on obverse rim very faint, a few small black spots on the obverse, the set extremely fine, with attractive original gilding, housed in a shaped black shagreen case with green velvet and silk interiors, a very rare set (4)
