MEXICO-- Two manuscript account books; one entitled 'Libro de la Cofradia de las Animas de la Yglesia de Ocoyoacac', in Spanish, 39 pages folio (302 x 208mm.); the second without title, 25 leaves folio (302 x 215mm.), dampstained, some tears with loss, both bound in limp vellum.
The first volume lists the officers and warrants of the foundation of the Conferation of the Souls of the Church and settlement of St. Martin Ocoyoacac in 1671 and lists payment of dues until 1726, with amendments and election of overseers. The second volume lists similar payments at different dates from 1674 until 1726. (2)
