A MEISSEN BLUE AND WHITE PLATE painted in tones of blue with a peacock perched among prunus issuing from rockwork within a border of radiating panels of flowering shrubs, birds and Orientals within a shaped chocolate line rim, the reverse with a band of meandering flowers, the centre with inverted blue crossed swords mark above o beneath a prunus tree, Pressnummer 20, circa 1740
