Enamelled in colours on gilt foil with the crowned Badge of the Legion d'Honor, the centre with a portrait of Henri IV, suspended from a red ribbon on a raised oval panel, the sides with polished and fluted oval bosses, with shaped and cut lower part (slight bruising to edges of fluted bosses)
