A PAIR OF ORMOLU AND BOULLE ORNAMENTS with models of unicorns, each lying down with one front foot extended and with flowing cloak, surmounted by an associated brass and pewter-inlaid tortoiseshell column decorated en première partie with grapes and vine leaves and headed by an ormolu composite capital surmounted by a military trophy cresting on later ebonised rectangular base with triangular central section mounted with a coat-of arms with three birds above a unicorn with open helm, the various elements probably all removed from a mid-17th Century cabinet and re-assembled, one column base mount replaced
