A LOUIS XVI GREY-PAINTED WALNUT CONSOLE TABLE with eared rectangular grey-veined white marble top with bowed central section above a pierced frieze carved with foliate scrolls divided by paterae above a ribbon moulding, on eight spirally-fluted tapering column-supports with Ionic capitals joined by two X-shaped stretchers with beaded outer borders and guilloché inner borders centred by vases carved with stiff leaves and pomegranate finials, centred by an oval stretcher with conforming decorations and twin-handled vase with acanthus carved socle and imbricated moulding, with pine cone finials, on ball feet carved with acanthus, some pieces lacking, with fragment of label, traces of the original green decoration on lower section
