A TRANSITIONAL ORMOLU-MOUNTED TULIPWOOD SECRETAIRE-ON-STAND, inlaid overall with ebony and boxwood stringing, with waved eared hinged rectangular top with mirrored reverse enclosing a blue velvet-lined interior with compartments, above a fall-front with quarter-veneered cartouche enclosing three drawers, between keeled angles, the sides and back with conforming decoration, the base with waved apron with drawer to one side, on cabriole legs joined by a waved rectangular undertier, with foliate sabots, inscribed in chalk 2932, with part of old collection label, the angles now lacking mounts
