KUNIYOSHI (1797-1861), oban tate-e, 38 x 26cm. and 38.2 x 25.6cm., from the set E-kyodai mitate musha awase 'Brother-pictures: a select comparison of worriors', a woman with packages slung over her shoulder; and another from the set Tosei Edo kanoko 'Modern Edo spotted dress-materials', a woman with a baby watching fish, terrapins and crabs in tubs and a cage, both signed Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi ga, the first published by Wakamatsuya and the second by Aritaya, both good impressions and colour, very slightly soiled and minute holes (2)
