A DAISHO, the long blade honzukuri, iorimune, chugissaki and shallow torii-zori, with very clear itame hada mixed with a little mokume, medium suguba hamon of ko-nie, komaru slightly pointed boshi and suriage nakago, signed Noshu ju Tashiro kakubei Kane (nobu), the final character cut off, mid 17th century, 68.6 cm. long; the short blade similar in form but with masame hada, narrower suguba hamon and slightly brushed boshi, ubu nakago with one mekugi-ana, signed Yamashiro Daijo Fujiwara Kunikane, circa 1624, 40.5 cm.; in later koshirae with refinished scabbards, Soten school fuchi, each with full Soten signature, and iron kyosukashi tsuba
