engraving, 1496, a very fine, Meder b impression, displaying great clarity and excellent contrasts, watermark Small Jug (M.158), with unusually wide margins (45-75mm.), the horizontal drying fold unpressed although carefully supported on the reverse, a brown spot upper centre, a tiny inclusion in the lower margin just outside the subject, the faintest staining and discolouration in the margins, a few very pale unobtusive foxmarks, otherwise in excellent condition
