woodcut, circa 1498, a very fine Meder a-b impression, the break in the contour of the mountain just beginning, before the breaks in the lower borderline, watermark Imperial Orb (M.53), with narrow margins outside the borderline, the usual horizontal fold below centre mainly noticeable on the reverse, the tip of the lower right corner made up, a small repaired tear to the left below the city, a small plugged-in hole at the top, a thin spot upper right, traces of old mounting at the reverse sheet edges, slight foxing
