etching, 1651, first state (of two), a fine, early impression, although slightly underinked at the left, printed with delicate vertical wiping scratches and some tone at the plate edges, with the fragment of a watermark, with narrow to thread margins, on three sides, cut approximately 3mm. at the left, the tip of the left sheetcorners made up, old glue-staining with associated thin spots at the reverse sheet edges, a few soft creases
