drypoint, 1652, a fine impression of this extremely rare landscape, with strong, effective burr, printed with a delicate tone and some light, vertical wiping scratches in the sky and the foreground, watermark Arms of Amsterdam, with small margins, a short skilfully repaired tear upper right, a repaired nick at the lower sheet edge,a few very slight creases mainly noticeable on the reverse, some very minor staining, otherwise generally in good condition
