etching, circa 1635, a remarkable fine, early impression, with numerous delicate vertical wiping scratches printed with a light tone, trimmed on the platemark, a small brown spot to the left of the head, the Gersaint number in pen and ink at the lower left corner, an initial 'r' in pen and ink at the lower right corner, some slight soiling and stainging, surface dirt on the reverse
