A FRANKENTHAL FIGURE OF CUPID DISGUISED AS WINTER in black cap, fur-lined hooded cape, ermine-lined muff and red skirt, standing before a tree-stump on a shaped scroll-moulded base enriched in puce and gilding (wings restored, some minute chipping), incised PH 3, circa 1760
