A MEISSEN RECTANGULAR TEA-CADDY AND COVER with arched shoulders, painted in purpurmalerei with huntsmen, hounds, stags and a boar in landscape vignettes above gilt half foliage scroll cartouches entwined with trailing flowers, the shoulders with four sprigs of flowers, the circular cover similarly decorated and with blue bud finial (two very minute chips to finial), blue crossed swords mark, impressed P, circa 1745
