A MEISSEN FIGURE OF A GRENADIER in a tall brown fur and iron-red hat, white jacket, waistcoat and breeches, iron-red cuffs and lapels, gilt buttoned leggings and black shoes, with his hair tied en queue and a bushy moustache, a black bag at his waist with the monogram MT and a sword, standing to attention holding a rifle in his right hand on a mound base (tip of rifle lacking and chip to nose), faint blue crossed swords mark to back of base, circa 1740
