The second and most complete edition of Vecellio's encyclopedia of costumes, expanded from the first edition of 1590 with 86 additional plates including 20 of American costumes (Peruvian, Mexican, Virginian and Florida indians). Cesare Vecellio (1530-1606) was a nephew and pupil of Titian, the blocks were cut by Cristoforo Chrieger. Lipperheide Aa 34; Colas 2977; Sabin 98732.
